Rescued Treasures
Rescued Treasures is a volunteer-managed program that benefits the pets awaiting adoption at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua through the resale of donated items online and at seasonal in-person marketplaces. Funds raised by this program contribute to the organization’s mission of advocating for and enhancing the lives of animals entrusted to their care while educating the community to strengthen the human animal bond.
While we had great success for many years with our in-person yard sale, the pandemic created a need for change. During the months that followed lockdown, we realized great success from selling donated items online via eBay and at local, in-person markets. This success led our volunteers to officially establish a resell program that operates year-round.
Where can you shop?
All year you can shop for items on HSFN’s eBay page. Through eBay’s Charity Direct Seller program, 100% of the proceeds from items sold through our eBay page go directly to our pets awaiting adoption.
Seasonal in-person sales at Junction 71 in Merrimack, NH will be held later this year September through December. Thanks to Pam at Junction 71, 100% of our proceeds go directly to HSFN.
How can you donate?
Help us stock the ‘store’ by donating the following items in good condition – VIEW THE WISHLIST
We accept donations all year, no need to wait for donation days! However, we kindly ask that you do not bring items for resale to the shelter at 24 Ferry Road. Simply send us some pictures and a description of the item(s) to rescuedtreasures@hsfn.org and a Rescued Treasures volunteer will contact you directly to answer questions or schedule a drop off.
