Recent Strays at HSFN

Below are photos of stray animals recently brought to the Humane Society. Any stray dog or microchipped cat is held in our care for 7 days awaiting an owner to come in to claim them. If your cat is not microchipped or no proper ID is found, there is no legal stray hold for unidentified cats in NH. However, we will hold the cat for 3-5 days as a courtesy. After 7 days, the law allows us, the Humane Society, to be the “owner” of the pet, and we begin the process towards adoption. If you see your pet in these photos, please contact us immediately by phone, 603-889-2275, or send an email.

Your Donation Matters

We are engaged in rescues and providing care to over 2,500 animals annually, but we can’t do it alone. Donations help assure we have a safe and healthy place for stray, unwanted and rescued animals and help us get them well and adopted. Please consider making a gift, thank you.
